        The Irlen Method

      • Irlen Syndrome is a perceptual problem that can affect achievement, learning, and performance, for struggling readers. The Irlen method is the original creator of coloured lens treatment for perceptual processing difficulties. It is backed by over 30 years of research. The Irlen institute is the pioneer and global leader in the visual processing technology that has helped millions of adults and children around the world.

The Irlen method can address not only reading problems, but also headaches, light sensitivity, ADD and ADHD, autism and many other ailments, by directly addressing a core problem, ie the brains ability to process visual information and light sensitivity that can contribute to reading difficulties, headaches and attention difficulties.

The treatment is straight-forward and non-invasive. Irlen Syndrome is a condition that affects 12-15% of the population.
